AVOID!! First of all, there's a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. I didn't see this because I didn't step into the building until I was picking up. It was 15 minutes before closing and I had no way to get a check or cash in the time allotted. They don't line item services, just says part and install with 1 price. We should get details on parts cost, labor costs, time etc. Really kind of an amateur setup. Sorry, but details should be provided on what cost what, labor time etc. Then there's the unauthorized work performed of a front end alignment. He mentioned over the phone the tires were wearing funny and asked if I new front struts. Told him I had tie rods, ball joints and struts done late last spring. At that point I had an alignment done which had a 12 month warranty. So they checked and repaired without me saying to perform that. So I had to pay for something that I never authorized. I could of stood there and argued but I had leave(more on that later). Customer service just plain sucks. When I called Wednesday morning to see if they could look they said drop off this morning. Well I work 8 to 4:30 and said I would drop off after hours. Got those details. Dropped off. Thursday morning at 12:30, no emails no contact no nothing. So I called them. Got put on hold, than hung up on(it happens). So I called back, was told they test drove and said couldn't duplicate. So he said he'd put it on the rack and check underneath. At 3:15 I called back since they close at 5 and said it's the u-joint which is what i told him on the phone Wednesday morning. So he says 'You didn't want the car back today did you'? Um yeah, it's 0 degrees and a 28 mile walk to work without a car so I needed a rental. Well never heard another word of them Thursday, so I'm stuck. 2nd day of rental car. Friday rolls around no calls in the morning. Not wanting to a pest I wait until the afternoon. I called at 2:30 because I was getting nervous. Owner answered and said cars all done come pick it up. I said I'm at work until 4:30, can I make payment over the phone and pickup after hours. He says sure but he can't take payments and they would call me shortly. 3:00 no call, 3:30 no call, 4:00 no call. So at 4:15 I pack up my laptop and head up to get the car. I couldn't take the chance of them not closing out my bill and since they're not open on weekends being without my car for the weekend. Get there at 4:40ish and wait about 5 minutes before someone shows at the counter. Get told the total, make the payment and head home so I can finish the days work. As for repair quality, can't tell you as of yet but if it's anything like their customer service and communication, it likely sucks or is barely adequate. So yeah next time I'll go to Bob's up the street or just about anywhere else. I've said my peace. Well that's the nice thing about credit cards, charge back for unsolicited services.As for not being happy with a service center it's not that I'm unhappy with them as much as I've moved and they're no longer convenient.
yes I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I told you your tires had uneven wear and I said I would check the front end alignment for free and if it needed one then I would do it for $75 dollars which the alignment was out just like I thought so I did the alignment just like WE agreed. sorry, we didn't get a chance to get your car done right away but we are a very busy shop and your not our only customer. I asked you if you had to have it back today and you said no if you Absolutely needed it back right away why didn't you just say so instead of writing a 5 page review complaining about everything. Yes we do charge if you use a credit card It comes out to $40 on a every $1000 charged I don't think that's Unreasonable but its not fair for people who pay by check or cash to pay for your credit card fees and it raises our prices for everyone and I try to keep a very fair price. So no I will keep your bad review and keep your $75 because that's what we agreed on and as for not calling you back you told me you wouldn't be picking the vehicle up till after we closed which is 5pm so I told you the guy will call you back so you could pay over the phone by credit card I never gave you a time he would call you back I just said he would call you. wow. Next time your at a shop my advise is to be more clear as to what you want we are not mind readers if you need your car back right away just say so don't say you don't need it and then complain because you don't get it back right away. You mentioned you had a bunch of work done at another shop I guess I'm just wondering why you didn't just go back there? Sounds to me like your just not happy with any where you go?
