West Bend Auto Repair

I live in Cedarburg and work in West Bend, having just started a new job, and my brakes needed repair. I don't have a family member who could help with transportation. I called Half-Price Auto Repair and explained my dilemma. A two minute conversation, and I had never done business with them before...it was arranged that they would pick up my car where it was parked in West Bend, take it to their shop and repair it, and return it to the parking spot before I got off work. They stayed in communication with me throughout the day, let me know the estimated repair cost before they began work, called for payment when it was done. The price was extremely reasonable. I had been so stressed out about my car, but they made everything easy for me. I can't thank them enough. But I would recommend them to anyone. With the shortage of new cars, I will imagine a lot of people will be opting to keep their old cars going a bit longer. Half-Price Auto Repair will do right by you.

If you want a fair honest mechanic I'd go here again in a heartbeat. He is usually busy so be ready to be patient.

Fair pricing, but employee a little too aggressive when explaining additional need for repairs. No military discount or free oil change either.

Not a car savvy person at all. However the guys knew exactly what I was talking about when I described my issues. Asked me to bring it in a day or 2 cause they were swamped. My car barely made it a black away. They took my car right then and there and even offered me a ride home. I had a brother close by. However they knew my situation and I needed my car for work and squeezed me in and even stayed late to make sure my car was ready for work the next day. So extremely happy with the results and super happy with their thoughtfulness and kindness. You don't get that a lot these days. Will bring my car here from now on.

John is great! He is always extremely busy but never turns anyone away and his garage provides excellent service at a very fair price. Half Price Auto is the best!! Most times the repair is completed the within a few hours of my visit.
