John just replaced the transaxle in our 2015 Ford Escape and the vehicle shifts and drives so smooth now it's a pleasure to drive again. John always goes the extra mile and stands behind his repairs plus he treats his customers the way he would want to be treated with respect and courtesy. Thank you John and Robert for always delivering great customer service!

The guy, John, damaged my car. He cost me $2000 and I had to buy another car. This place is a dump- they are not ASE and hold no valid certifications. The certifications listed on the website are fraudulent. mechanic that all the locals will tell you not to go to. This guy is a liar and you risk your life going here as nothing is tightened to spec. I am so disappointed that I allowed this alley mechanic to fix my car. The picture is from the repairs John did to my car. He also broke the cold air intake. Real piece of work-

**The picture is from after my car was taken to Half Price Auto** I took my car here to have the rack and pinion replaced. John said he did the work himself. He broke the cold air intake, failed to fill the new rack with fluid and upon filling, it now leaks, the bolts were just finger tight and upon leaving a bad review the first time, a guy associated with the business attacked me. This company fraudulently displays the ASE logo. They are not an ASE preferred mechanic. I would not take your car here. Don't make the same mistake I did. Take it anywhere else but here. This place only has openings because they are really terrible mechanics but very good at getting bad Google reviews removed.

**The picture is from AFTER my car was taken to Half Price Auto** ***UPDATE*** THE RACK AND PINION HAS FAILED AS WELL AS THE POWER STEERING PUMP ONE MONTH AFTER BEING INSTALLED BY THIS LOW QUALITY, UNPROFESSIONAL HACK-MECHANIC. THIS CAR IS NOW PARKED AND IS NEEDS A NEW RACK AND PINION AND POWER STEERING PUMP*** *****DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES**** I took my car here to have the rack and pinion replaced. I took my car here for service and they broke my air intake, the suspension bolts were not tightened to spec, the power steering unit did not have any fluid in it and as a result, the brand new power steering unit leaks upon filling. I paid $860 in cash, did not receive a receipt and a person affiliated with the business tried crashing their car into mine the day I initially left a bad review. I am not happy with the service I received, my car had to be serviced by a different mechanic and I am filing a complaint with the WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Knowing how busy things can get..the shop did a good job.. would have been nice to get a more than 15 minutes notice that my car would not be ready till next day. Should have told me the driver door panel came off.

I've been looking for a new auto shop closer to my house. My car needed an oil change so I decided to give Half-Price a chance, especially with all the good reviews online. Getting an appointment was horrible - I called, and they said they were booking out 2-3 weeks. I said I would make the appointment through their website then, as I needed to look at my calendar. I requested an appointment in 2.5 weeks on their website and never got a confirmation. When the appointment date came, I called to ask if it was confirmed and they said they never check the website requests and don't make any appointments through their website. This was never mentioned to me when I told them I was going to make the appointment through the website on the first phone call. So then I had to make appointment another 2 weeks out, so it took me over a month to get in for an oil change. When I went for the oil change, I asked for a full synthetic oil change. They gave me a semi-synthetic oil change. Every interaction, they acted like I was the biggest inconvenience to them.

awww sounds to me like your just a sensitive little guy. I personally wouldn't wait that long to get my oil changed but that's just me I would have just taken it to the nearest quick lube they can do it right away while you wait but then again its not FREE like us which I'm sure you already knew however you can always ask maybe they will give you one for FREE if you ask nice and not charge you $50 to $100 like everywhere else. I'm sorry we lost you sounds to me like you would have been a great customer. Also we give you what you ask for not just give you what we feel like giving you. We have cameras with microphones and after reviewing our conversation we can clearly hear you say semi synthetic sorry you don't know the difference when asked.
